Stephanie Stevison has worked at our firm for four years. She has lived in the Jacksonville area since 1997 and graduated from Middleburg High School in 2008. Before coming to our firm, Stephanie was a Police Dispatcher with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office from 2008 – 2014. She is currently enrolled in the Florida State College at Jacksonville where she will obtain her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies this May.
Stephanie states she loves working in the area of Family Law because she finds it rewarding to help people in some of their most desperate times of need. Adoption cases are her favorite ones to work on because she gets to be a part of bringing families together for the best interest of the children involved. She states the thing she likes best about working at our firm is that it is a small office, which makes it easy to communicate and stay in the loop regarding our cases, and that she is able to have great relationships with our clients because our size makes it easier for us to have more time for each client individually.
Stephanie states her most rewarding experience while at our firm was a case where we represented a father who was desperate to locate his young daughter, who was being hidden by her drug-addicted mother. She recalls we worked really diligently to get orders ready and signed by the judge, worked with police for information on how to locate the mother, and eventually were able to reunite the father with his little girl. She will never forget how great it was to witness this dad so concerned about the well-being of his daughter and his willingness to do anything to make sure she was with him and safe at last.
We are so thankful to have Stephanie as part of our team!
